Il nuovo album degli Okkervil River "I AM VERY FAR" arriva
a quasi tre anni di distanza dal precedente (ed acclamato) capitolo "The stand ins". Un disco per il quale il cantante-songwriter Will Sheff ha voluto “spingere il suo cervello in luoghi dove non sarebbe mai voluto andare”. “I am very far” arriva dopo la collaborazione di Sheff al disco dei New Pornographers, dopo aver scritto una canzone per “The fall” di Norah Jones e aver lavorato all’album di Roky Erikson “True love casts out all evil” . Due batteristi, due pianisti, due bassisti e sette chitarristi lavorano a quest’ultimo capitolo della band texana.
