Moby Dick, la balena musicale di Radio2 condotta da Silvia Boschero, presenta nella settimana da lunedì 5 a venerdì 9 settembre in anteprima “Junk of the heart”, il nuovo album dei Kooks.
La giovane band britannica, attesa il prossimo 27 ottobre all’Alcatraz di Milano ha dato alle stampe un album solare e scanzonato, prodotto da Tony Hoffer (Beck, Air, Belle & Sebastian) e registrato tra i Sound Factory di Los Angeles e il Sarm Studios di Londra. Questo terzo “È un album positivo, ottimista, da suonare sotto il sole” – racconta il frontman Luke Pritchard – quello che volevamo fare davvero era costruire un vero e proprio album, qualcosa che si possa ascoltare dall’inizio alla fine. Siamo una band da album e questo è un viaggio da compiere insieme a noi”. “Junk of the Heart” arriva dopo due album amatissimi: il debutto del 2006 “Inside In/Inside Out” e il secondo lavoro “Konk” del 2008 (platino), due album che hanno permesso alla band di vendere più di 2 milioni di copie nel mondo.
